AccommodationSelf-catering CottagesA stay in one of the 16 self-catering cottages overlooking the bay promises to meet everyone’s expectations. These fully equipped self catering cottages range from one to three bedrooms and suit the needs of both tourist and business men. Standard and luxury units are available to accommodate all preferences. Each cottage is fully equipped with kitchen, lounge and bathroom. The spacious lounges have surprising sea views. Bedding is provided too. Ideal for a family breakaway in the country and close to the beach. Blue Bay Lodge The stylish and elegant Blue Bay Lodge is situated on the seashore of the white beaches of Saldanha Bay. It has captured the very essence and ambience of the West Coast. The relaxed, but elegant style of the restored Wicht family homestead creates a luxurious retreat from which to enjoy the tranquillity of this unique region. The colours of the sea and sand are echoed in the crisp, cool decor with hints of warmth. Spacious lounges create a comfortable atmosphere to relax and enjoy the silence of this unique region. Sixteen deluxe en-suite rooms offer guests a luxurious experience and breathtaking views. Every room has been stylishly decorated in tones of naturals and blue. Careful attention has been paid to detail ensuring the comfort and enjoyment of guests - tourists and business persons. Each room has a television and coffee making facilities. DiningLinger over a delicious breakfast, served in the dining room with its panoramic sea view. In the evening you can enjoy a selection of specialities, complimented by one of our renowned South African wines. DirectionsFrom Cape Town International Airport Take the N2 towards Cape Town. Take the off-ramp to N7, direction Malmesbury. Follow the N7 until you reach the M19 to Melkbos. Go towards Melkbos until you reach a four-way robot (R27). Take a right and follow R27 to Veldrift. At the West Coast 1 Stop, an Engen petrol station, you are getting close to your destination. Past the station you take the second turning left towards Saldanha. From there you pass Saldanha Steel on your left. The signs to Blue Bay Lodge are at the next turnoff left. From there follow the signs. |
