Description

Tree Tops offers four double bedroom cabins, tastefully decorated and caringly equipped for your comfort. Each tree house is furnished with a double bed, a dining table, oil heater in winter. Bed linen is provided, but bring your own towels.
A small, fully equipped kitchenette with two-plate stove and oven and your own patio in front complete the picture.

A fifth cabin, called 'Maxima' has been added with a large patio and undercover braai area and kitchen. This facility provides a communal eating area for groups, even on a rainy day.

Ablution facilities, a large sundeck and a barbecue area on the banks of the river, are shared.

You are literally at the water's edge with a full view of the river and the mountains beyond from every cabin. Besides the breathtaking scenery, you can enjoy swimming, canoeing, fishing, bird watching or take long walks on this beautiful farm.

Ever dreamed of living in a rambling old farm house in the country, with huge rooms ... high ceilings ... looking out over lush green orchards to the river and mountains beyond?

Kardouw Farm House offers all that and more! This is a farm house tastefully decorated, with a designer edge of colour-washed walls and a mix of traditional and modern furniture.

Set in a beautiful garden of it's own with a wide patio for outdoor living, the Farm House offers three bedrooms and sleeps 10 people. Bed linen is provided, but bring your own towels.
The farm style kitchen, with breakfast table, is fully equipped with everything from crockery to a microwave oven.

Barbecue facilities, use of the canoes and it's own swimming place at the river makes this an ideal country getaway for hikers, bird watchers and nature lovers.

Rates

Rates for Tree Tops:
Weekend nights: R350 per cabin per night. (sleeps 1-2 people)
Week nights (Sun - Thur): R275 per hut per night.

Maxima: Weekend nights: R375 per night. (sleeps 1-2 people)
Week nights (Sun - Thur): R325 per night.

Children: R60 (week) R75 (weekends) per child per night.
We pitch their own tent, complete with bedding, on the patio in front of your unit.

- We spent the weekend at Tree Tops and could not have asked for a better venue. The smell of the poplar forest has never been more enticing. I never imagined that living in a tree house to be that luxurious.
