Description

• 3 bedrooms, which sleep 6 (2 single beds made up as a king size bed, and 2 Queen size beds.) • 3 bathrooms (1 en-suit.) total of 3 toilets, 1 bath and two showers. • Linen and towels provided. • Equipped kitchen including washing machine, oven and filter coffee machine. • Large TV with DSTV as an option. Please bring your own DSTV card. • Fireplace in large sitting room with wood provided free of charge. • Separate study/ babies room with fold-up camp cot. Please arrange for cot when booking. • Braai facilities with wood provided free of charge. • Large stoep with fantastic views of the mountains and valley below. • Access to 183 ha working fruit and flower farm with marked trails through the orchards and natural fynbos veld for walking and mountain biking. There are wonderful views, and natural fauna and flora. • Swimming in the dam. • Please, no pets. The charge will be R220/night/person (with a 50% deposit when booking) for the cottage, and it is self catering. Kids under 12 yrs stay at half price and babies are free. There is a 20% discount for week nights. There will be a short maids service for dishes and beds each morning at 10am (you are welcome to arrange a different time when booking) and we can put you in contact with a baby sitter if you arrange it when booking.

Rates

R 220/ person/night. Minimum of R880/ stay. Kids under 12yrs are charged at half price. Babies are free. There is a 20% discount for stays on Sunday to Thursday nights.

We require a 50% deposit to confirm a booking.

- Pamona Farm has a beautifull self catering cottage. It is very tastfully decorated and we felt at home straight away. The countryside is perfect for long walks and stunningliy beautifull. We will definitly come back!!!

- Pomona Farm Cottage is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Piketberg mountain. Views from the cottage are stunning, the beds are very comfortable and the flower/fruit farm is a great place for both young and old to explore. Thank you for the warm hospitality, the log fires and the fresh mountain air. We can highly recommend Pomona Farm Cottage!

- We had a fantastic time at Pomona. The house is very spacious and the fire (with its free wood) was brialliant for the wet weekend! Very well decorated and the hosts made us feel as if the house was ours. The views over the mountains (when the sun came out) were "out-of-this-world"! I would recommend this to anyone wanting to escape the city!

Directions

Directions : From Cape Town (+- 150 km away) follow the N7 to Piketberg. Take the first turn off into town and drive straight though the town.We are about 16km from town. At the far end of town turn right towards Elandsbaai. A few kilometres later turn left to Piket-bo-berg. Drive up the mountain pass. At the top of the mountain turn right onto Pomona road. After 4 km turn left at the Pomona Farm sign. Stop at the office or if after hours/ weekends follow the signs to the “cottage”. From the 1st set of signs at the shed, head straight down the road, past the office stoep. Do not turn onto the dam wall. This route takes you past the bottom of the dam wall, and past our face brick house to collect the key. The Cottage is a little further on your right at the “Cottage” sign. Please ask one of our staff for directions if you feel unsure of your route.
