Accessible Accommodation

Our Boulders Room

This ground floor suite has been specifically designed so that it not only meets the needs of able-bodied guests but also the accessibility needs of wheelchair users or physically disabled guests.

The suite was designed with the assistance of the Independent living centre and in consultation with a consultancy called Disability Solutions to ensure that it met the needs of able-bodied guests as well as most guest’s wheelchair users.

The bathroom is fitted with a roll in shower that has an extra large fold down seat (53 cm from the floor) and two grab rails, a fixed showerhead as well as an adjustable hand shower.

The washbasin has its cold water tap closest to the toilet and the dressing table top is fitted directly to the wall to facilitate wheelchair access to the mirror and top of the dressing table. The toilet is 48 centimetres from the floor

A heated towel rail and under floor heating add extra luxury to our guest’s experience.

The bedroom has two twin beds or a King size bed, a special cover designed and manufactured by Sealy is used so that the join between the beds is not noticeable.

The beds are 57 centimetres from the floor and can be adjusted down by 7 centimetres and up to accommodate a hoist.

The cupboard has a lower rail for hangers with doors that open 180 degrees.

The room opens on to a patio that has direct access to the solar heated swimming pool.

Our Accommodation

This Italian Styled Villa has beautiful mountain views and situated in a quiet part of the Fish Hoek. The guest lounge has satellite television, fireplace and the guest library.

The Lapa with braai and pizza oven offers plenty of space to relax and enjoy your well-earned holiday in the sun. The Lapa overlooks the solar heated swimming pool, with sun lounges inviting you to do some sun bathing, but don’t forget the lotion.

The beautiful staircase in a double volume hallway provides access to the bedrooms.

The bedrooms

Our 6 well appointed rooms are of an above average size all with en suite bathrooms and furnished to 4 Star and Great Comfort standard as allocated and checked every 12 months by the various accreditation bodies to whom we subscribe. This is done on a voluntary basis to give you the reassurance that you have chosen a reputable accommodation provider.

Each bedroom has a TV, bar fridge, heater, fan, tea tray, safe, toiletries and hair dryer.

All bathrooms are equipped with heated towel rails and some under floor heating.
