The Lodge is surrounded by a beautiful garden and huge shady trees. During the summer, the wrap-around veranda is an idyllic place to laze during the heat of the day. In wintertime, the fire in the guest lounge, with its private entrance, will inspire you to select a book from our library and curl up on the couch. Buffet breakfast is served on the veranda, weather permitting. The 3 double en-suite rooms are spacious and well appointed and the twin room has its own bathroom accross the passage. The hundred year old house has graceful sash windows, internal shutters and wooden floors that all lend to a special ambience.Rates1 April 2007 - 31 March 2008: R300 per person sharing, R400 per single person (Double en-suite room) R275 per person sharing, R375 per single person (Twin room, not en-suite) From 1 April 2008 - 31 March 2009: R330 per person per night, R440 per single person (double en-suite room) R300 per person sharing, R400 per single person (Twin room, not en-suite)
DirectionsFrom Cape Town, take the N7 North. Turn into Malmesbury and follow signs for R45 Paarl. Exit Malmesbury and take the R46 for 10km. As you come over the pass, take the R311 left direction Riebeek Kasteel/Moorresburg and continue for 5km to Riebeek West. As you enter Riebeek West, drive for 800m to Smuts Street. Turn left towards the mountain. We are the 2nd house on the right No. 12. |
